1.             The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank(ADB)

towards the cost of Participatory Small Scale Water Resources Sector Project (PSSWRSP). Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from ADB member courntries.

 

2.             The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of  (i) Regulator (1v-1.5mx1.5m) (ii) WMCA Office including Rain Water Harvesting Electrification, Office Furniture under Khal Ghat Basundia Subproject (SP-46265 (ADB), Upazila : Sadar, District : Jessore.

 

3.             Only eligible bidders meeting the qualification criteria stated in the bidding document, including the following key criteria may participate in this bidding, either as a single entity or Joint Venture.

               

                *         Participation in at least One contract that has been successfuly or subatantially completed within the last 5 (five) years and that is similar to the proposed works, where the value of the Bidder’s Participation  exceeds BDT 55.00 (fifty five) lakh. In case of joint venture, one partner must meet the requirement.

 

                *         Minimum average annual construction turnover of BDT 75.00 (seventy five) lakh, caculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last 3 (three) years. In case of joint venture, all partners combined must meet the requirement, each partner must meet 25% of this requirement and one partner must meet 40% of the requirement.

 

                *          Should fulfill  requirement of financial resourses as mentioned in the bidding documents.

 

                            Complete qualification criteria are described in the bidding document.

 

4.             National completive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage One Envelop procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligble sourse countries.

6.             To inspect of purchase the bidding documents in English, eligible bidders should.

 

                *          Write to Office of the (a) Executive Engineer, LGED, Jessore or (b) Executive Engineer, LGED, Kushtia or (c)  Deputy Commissioner, Jessore or (d) Superintedent of Police, Jessore or (e) Project Director, PSSWRSP,LGED, HQ, RDEC Bhaban (Level-5), Ahargaon, Dhaka (f) Superintending Engineer, LGED, Jessore Region Jessore of (g) Upazila Engineer Office, Sadar, Jessore requesting the bidding documents for Cosntruction of works  as mentioned above.

 

                *          Pay a non-refundable fee of 4000 (four thousand) in favour of Executive Engineer, LGED, Jessore as mentioned above.

 

7.             Deliver your bid:

                *          To the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Jessore.

                *          On or before the Deadline : date 17 February 2016 at time:  12.00 PM

                *          Together with a Bid Security in the amount indicated in the bidding document.

 

8.             Bids will be opened on 17 February 2016 at 12:05 PM in the office of the Excucative Engineer office, LGED, Jessore.

 

9.              The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annual the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to

                 contract  award, without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders. In case of annulment, all bids submitted and specifically, bid  

                 secirity  shall be promptly returned to the Biddrss.
