1.                     

The Government of the people's  Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development                   Bank (ADB) towards the cost of  Participatory Small Scale Water  Resources sector project (PSSWRSP) Part           of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above.Bidding is open to bidders from ADB member countries.

2.                     

The Local  Government  Engineering  Department  (LGED)  invites  sealed  bids  for the   Repairing    Estimate for  

 Drainage out-let Structure(1v-900p) in connection Bagha  Beel Subproject (SP-25211) (ADB)}, upazila: Golapgong, District: Sylhet.

3.                         Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications may participate in this bidding:

·         best 3 (three) years average annual construction turnover not less than Taka 56.41 lakh in the last 5 years

·         Minimum 5 (five) years general construction experience.

·         Minimum specific experience in similar contact individually of at least one contract of Taka BDT 10.50 lakh.

·         Liquid assets in terms of cash/line credit at least BDT 9.40 lakh

·         Equipments like concrete mixture machine, concrete vibrator and plate compactor must in his possession either owner or leased.

·         The bidder should have experienced construction manager

   4.                        To obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents, bidders should contact:

   5.                        To purchase the bidding documents in English, eligible bidders should:

·         write to office of the executive engineer, LGED, sylhet, (principal) /Executive engineer, LGED, Moulvibazar/office of the Deputy commissioner/Police super, Sylhet/ PD,PSSWRSP,LGED HQ, RDEC Bhaban (Level-5), Agargaon, Dhaka/Upazila Engineer office, Golapgong , Sylhet  requesting the bidding documents for constriction of works mentioned above.

·         Pay a non-refundable fee in favour of Executive Engineer, LGED, Sylhet as mentioned above.

·         Deadline for purchasing Bidding Documents on or before 04-03-2012 , 05:00 pm.

   6 .                      Deliver your bid:

·         To the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED Sylhet (principal).

·         On or before the deadline: 05-03-2012 at time : 01:00 PM

·         Together with a Bid  Security of Tk.32500.00 .

7.                           Bids will be opened on 01:05 PM dated 05-03-2012 in the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, 

                          Sylhet.

   8.            The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding reject all bids at any time             

                   prior to contact award, without thereby incurring any liabilityto bidders .Incase of annulment, all bids 

                   submitted and specifically, bid securities, shall be promptly returned to the bidders.
