The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Participatory Small Scale Water Resources Sector Project (PSSWRSP). Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidder from ADB member countries
The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Enhancement works of existing Bara Chara diversion Structure of Bara Chara Subproject {SP-23046(ADB)} Under Sreemongal, District: Moulvibazar.
Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications may participate in this in this bidding:

· Average Annual construction turnover not less than Taka 65.00 Lakh in the last 3 years

· Minimum 5(Five) years general construction experience

· Minimum specific experience in similar contract individually of at least one contract of Taka 35.00 Lakh

· Liquid assets in terms of cash/line credit at least Taka 21.50 Lakh

· Equipments like concrete mixture machine, concrete vibrator and plate compactor must have in his possession either owner of leased.

· The bidder should have experienced construction manager

4 To obtained further information and inspect the bidding documents, bidders should contract:

5 To purchase the bidding documents in English, eligible bidders should:

· Write to Office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Moulvibazar (Principle)/Executive Engineer, LGED, Sylhet/Office of the Deputy Commissioner/Police Super, Moulvibazar/PD, SSWRSP, LGED HQ, RDEC Bhaban (Level-5), Agargaon, Dhaka/Upazila Engineer Office, Sreemongal, Moulvibazar requesting the bidding documents for construction of works mention above.

· Pay a non-refundable fee in favour of Executive Engineer, LGED, Moulvibazar as mentioned above.

· Pre-Bid conference date : 02-07-2012. Time 11.00AM, Place: Office of the undersigned

· Deadline for purchasing Bidding Documents On of before 05.00 PM Date: 10-07-2012

6. Deliver your bid:

· To the Office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Moulvibazar (Principal)

· On of before the deadline : 11-07-2012 at time 01.00 PM

· Together with Bid Security of Tk. 1,08,000.00

7 Bids will be opened on 01.05PM dated 11-07-2012 in the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Moulvibazar

8 The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award without thereby including any liability to Bidders, In case of annulment all bids submitted and specifically, bid securities, shall be promptly retumed to the Bidders. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and this Bids is available on the website www.lged.gov.bd
