- The Government of the people’s republic of Bangladesh has received
a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of
participatory small scale water resources sector project (PSSWRSP). Part
of this loan will be used for payments under the contract name above.
Bidding is open to bidders from ADB member countries.
- The local Government Engineering Department (LGED) invites sealed
bids from eligible bidders for the
(a) Construction of WMCA Office including Electrification,Office Furniture &
Tender Preparation work under Dehergati Subproject {SP-43043 (IFAD-1)},
Upazila:Babuganj, District:Barisal & (b) Construction of WMCA Office
including Electrification,Office Furniture & Rain Water Harvesting
work under Kafila Krisnanagar Subproject {SP-43049 (IFAD-2)},
Upazila:Bakergonj, District:Barisal
3. Only eligible bidders with
the following key qualification may participate in this bidding:
- Minimum Average Annul Construction Turnover (AACT) shall be BDT
21.00 (Twenty one lakh) in last 3(three) years.
- Minimum 5(five) years general Construction experience.
- Experience in Similar Contract individually of at lest one
contract of value BDT 12.00(Twelve lakh)in last 5 (five)years.
- Liquid Assets in terms of cash/line credit at last BDT 3.50 lakh
(Three lakh fifty thousand).
- Equipments like concrete mixture machine,concrete vibrator and
plate compactor must have in his possession either owner or leased.
- The bidder should have experienced Construction Manager.

5. To purchase the bidding

Upazila Enginer office, Babugonj / Bakergonj, Barisal resquesting the
bidding documents for Construction of works mentioned above.
- Pay a non-refundable fee in favour of Executive Engineer .LGED
Barisal as mentioned above.
- Deadlinc for purchasing bidding documents; Date: 25-02-2013, Time:05:00

Deliver Your bid:

together with a bid security of BDT 40,000.00 (fourty
thousand) in favour of Executive Engineer, LGED, Barisal

Bids will be opened on 26-02-2013 at 1.00 pm
in the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Barisal.
7.
The Employeer reserves the right to accept or reject any
bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to
contact award, without thereby incurring any liability to bidders. In case
of annulment, all bids submitted and
specifically, bid securities, shall be promptly returned to the Bidders.
