1. The People's Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards
the cost of Participatory
Small Scale Water Resources Sector Project (PSSWRSP). Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders
from ADB member countries.
2. The Local
Government Engineering Department (LGED) invites sealed bids from eligible
bidders for the Construction of Tumchar WRS
(2V- 1.2mx1.5m), (ii) Ferro Cement pucca field (iii)
WMCA Office including Rain Water Harvesting, Electrification works of WMCA
Office, Office Furniture under Tumchar-Kalirchar Khal Subproject {SP-43073 (IFAD-1)}, Upazila:
Sadar, District: Laxmipur.
3. Only eligible bidders with the
following key qualifications may participate in this bidding:
·
Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover (AACT)
shall be BDT 88.00 (Eighty eight lakh) in last 3 (three) years.
·
Minimum 5 (five) years General Construction
experience.
·
Experience in Similar Contract Individually of at
least one contract of value BDT 80.00 (Eighty lakh) in last 5 (five) years.
·
Should fulfill the requirement of financial
resources as mentioned in the bidding documents.
4. National competitive bidding
will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage:
One Envelop procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source
countries

7. Deliver your bid:

8. Bids will be opened on 13-01-2014
at 12:05 PM in the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Laxmipur.
9. The Employer reserves the right to
accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids
at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to
Bidders. In case of annulment, all bids submitted and specifically, bid
securities, shall be promptly returned to the Bidders.
