Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a grant from Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau (KfW) as part of German Financial Cooperation with Bangladesh as the co-financing of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) “City Region Development Project (CRDP)” ADB Loan no. 2695 BAN (SF) towards the cost of “Climate change adapted urban development in Khulna” and it is intended that part of the proceeds of this grant will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the works as mentioned in para-2. Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible source countries of the Asian Development Bank.

The Chief Engineer, Khulna City Corporation now invites sealed tenders from eligible tenderer for the purpose of the following works:

8.	Tender shall be valid for a period of 120 (one hundred twenty) days after bid opening and must be accompanied by the tender security specified in the tender document. Interested tenderer may purchase the tender documents or obtain further information from the offices as stated above & Office of the undersigned.
9.	All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security mentioned in Bangladesh Taka in the form of either Payment Order or Bank Draft or Unconditional Irrevocable Bank Guarantee for Tender Security from any Schedule Bank in favour of The Mayor, Khulna City Corporation, Khulna and must be delivered in accordance with the Instructions to Tenderers.
10.	The tenderer or their authorized representatives are allowed to attend the opening of tenders.
11.	The authority reserves the right to accept any tender, or to accept any part of the tender, or to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof and in such case no compensation will be entertained.
