1. The People's Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Participatory Small Scale Water Resources Sector Project (PSSWRSP). Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from ADB member countries.

2. The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) invites sealed bids from eligible idders for the Construction of Construction of (i) Modification of existing Singrir Khal Bridge into Gated Structure (3V-1.5mx1.8m) at Ch.0+078km, (ii) Modification of existing Reghabendrapur Khal Bridge into Gated Structure (4V-1.50mx1.80m)at Ch. 0+773 km (iii) Modification of existing Majhipara Khal Box Culvert into Gated Structure (6V-1.20m x1.20m) at Ch. 0+552 km (iv) Modification of existing Voterpara into Gated Structure (2V-1.20m x1.20m), (v) Modification of existing Voterpara into Gated Structure (1V-1.20mx1.20m), (vi) Proposed Regulator (1V-1.2mx1.2m), at the point of existing damage Culvert near Santirmore (vii) WMCA Office including Rain Water Harvesting, Electrification & Office Furniture under Purbajoydebpur - Kanchdahai Subproject {SP-44140 (IFAD-2)}, Upazila: Nawabganj, District: Dinajpur.

3. Only eligible bidders meeting the qualifications criteria stated in the bidding document, including the following key criteria, may participate in this bidding:

· 3 (three) years minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover shall be BDT 240.00 (Two hundred forty) Lakh

· Minimum 5 (five) years general construction experience

· Experience in similar contract individually at least BDT 130.00 (One hundred thirty) Lakh

· Should fulfill the requirement of financial resources as mentioned in the bidding documents.

4. National competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelop procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries
