1. The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has
received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of
Participatory Small Scale Water Resources Sector Project (PSSWRSP). Part of
this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is
open to bidders from ADB member countries.
2. The Local Government
Engineering Department (LGED) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the
Construction of Kaer Khali Box culvert (1v-3.0mx3.0m) near the middle of Digar
Khal road cum embankment at Ch. 0+510km under Kaer Khali Subproject (SP-25234),
Upazila:
Sadar, District: Netrokona.
3. Only eligible bidders meeting the
qualifications criteria stated in the bidding document, including the following
key criteria, may participate in this bidding:

Average
annual construction turnover not less than Taka 18.00 lakh in the last 3 years.
·
Minimum
5 (five) years general construction experience for at least the last 05 (Five)
years to the bidders submission deadline.
·
Minimum
specific experience in similar contract individually of at least one contract
within the last 5(Five) years each with a value of at least Taka BDT 7.50 lakh.
·
Should
fulfill the requirement of financial resources as mentioned in the Bidding
documents para 2.3.3 in section-3.

5. To purchase the bidding documents in
English, eligible bidders should:

Engineer, LGED, Mymensingh or (c) Deputy Commissioner, Netrokona or (d) Superintendent of Police, Netrokona or (e)
Project Director, PSSWRSP, LGED HQ, RDEC Bhaban (Level-5), Agargaon, Dhaka or
(f) Upazila Engineer, Sadar, Netrokona requesting the bidding documents for
Construction of works mentioned above.

Pay
a non-refundable fee in favour of Executive Engineer, LGED, Netrokona mentioned
above.
·
Last
date of document available up to 5:00 PM, Date: 07-01-2015.
·
Approach
the above mentioned offices until the bid submission deadline.
6. Deliver your bid:

7. Bids will be opened on 12:05 PM dated 08-01-2015 in the office of the

8. The Employer reserves the right to
accept or reject any bid, and to annual the bidding process and reject all bids
at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to
Bidders. In case of annulment, all bids submitted and specifically, bid
securities, shall be promptly returned to the Bidders.
