	INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT
16.	LGED now invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from a experienced Individual Consultant (National) for the following positions. The duration of the service is 12 (Twelve) months.
Position		Name of the Post	Experience & requirement
1		Construction Supervision Engineer	- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from any recognized University. - Must have at least 10 years working experience in the field of high-rise building construction supervision with pile foundation along with semi-basement. - Knowledge and experience on PDA test, Static load test, Integrity test of Pile Construction works. - Knowledge in preparation of concrete mix design for Infrastructure Construction. - Should have knowledge on using standard code of practice i.e. BNBC, AASHTO, ACI & IRC etc. - Knowledge and experience in Fire Fighting System, Water Supply and Plumbing Work Supervision - Computer proficiency in Auto CAD, MS word, excel, power point etc.
1		Structural Engineer (Building)	- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from any recognized University. - Must have at least 10 Years working experience in the field of structural analysis and design of different types of high-rise Building. - Knowledge and experience in design and analysis of steel building. - Knowledge and experience in structural analysis and design with application of appropriate design software i.e. STAAD pro, ETABS, SAP, SAFE etc. - Should have knowledge on using standard code of practice i.e. BNBC, AASHTO, ACI & IRC etc. for analysis and structural design of Building and others related structures. - Computer proficiency in Auto CAD, MS word, excel, power point etc.
1		Electrical Engineer	- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from any recognized University. - Must have at least 10 Years working experience in the field of assignment i.e. electrical site supervision, Planning/ design and performing electrical analysis and design at different types of high-rise Building. - Should have sound knowledge on Sub-station, Generator, BBT installation; fire detection, HVAC, Surge protection device, Stage lighting and Sound system, Conference & PA system, Access control system, networking system etc. - Should have knowledge on using standard code of practice i.e. BNBC, IEC, IEE, NFPA etc. - Computer proficiency in Auto CAD, MS word, excel, power point etc.
1		Plumbing Engineer	- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from any recognized University. - Must have at least 10 years’ working experience in Plan, Design to the relevant field of assignment i.e. plumbing, fire-fighting & water supply System at different high-rise Building. - Should have knowledge on using standard code of practice i.e. BNBC, AASHTO, ACI & IRC etc. - Computer proficiency in Auto CAD, MS word, excel, power point etc.
Others information:			- Interested Candidates are requested to submit their expression of interest Application Forms (complete CV with other details as required as per the Application Forms) which may be obtained from the office of the undersigned during normal office hours, up to EOI closing date. - Consultant will be selected using the selection of individual consultant sub-method in accordance with “ Request For Application (RFA) Proposal” - Expression of Interest shall be submitted by 2.00 PM on 27/02/2018, in sealed envelope delivered to Md. Azhrul Islam, Executive Engineer (Design) & Authorized Officer (BAPARD Project) and be clearly marked “Request for Expressions of Interest for Selection of Individual Consultant. - All requirements experience selection criteria etc. included in Terms of Reference. - The Client reserves the right to accept or reject any/all Expression of Interest (EOI).
