	INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT
16.	LGED now invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from a experienced Individual Consultant (National) for the following positions. The duration of the service is 12 (Twelve) months.
Position		Name of the Post	Experience & requirement
1		Structural Engineer (Building)	- Master/B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from any recognized University. - Must have overall experience of 12(Twelve) years at least 10 Years working experience in the field of assignment i.e. Planning and performing structural analysis and design of different types of Building. - Knowledge and experience in design and analysis of high rise buildings. - Knowledge and experience in design and analysis of steel building. - Knowledge and experience in structural analysis and design with application of appropriate design software i.e. STAAD pro, ETABS, SAP, SAFE etc. - Computer proficiency in Auto CAD, MS word, excel, power point etc. - Should have knowledge on using standard code of practice i.e. AASHTO, ACI & IRC etc. for analysis and structural design of Building and others related structures.
1		Electrical Engineer	- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from any recognized University of Bangladesh or Equivalent Degree. - Must have overall experience of 10(Ten) years at least 8 Years working experience in the field of assignment i.e. electrical site supervision, Planning/ design and performing electrical analysis and design of different types of Building. - Knowledge and experience in design and analysis of different types of electrical design of high rise buildings. - Should have sound knowledge on Sub-station, Generator, BBT installation; fire detection & protection, HVAC, Surge protection device, Stage lighting and Sound system, Conference & PA system, Access control system, net working system etc. - Computer proficiency in Auto CAD, MS word, excel, power point etc.
Others information:			(1) Interested Candidates are requested to submit their expression of interest Application Forms (complete CV with other details as required as per the Application Forms) which may be obtained from the office of the undersigned during normal office hours, up to EOI closing date. (2) Consultant will be selected using the selection of individual consultant sub-method in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2008. It is expected that the services will be commenced on 1^st May’2017. (3) Expression of Interest shall be submitted by 2.00 PM on 30/03/2017, in sealed envelope delivered to Md. Azhrul Islam, Executive Engineer (Design) & Authorized Officer (BAPARD) and be clearly marked “Request for Expressions of Interest for Selection of Individual Consultant. The Client reserves the right to accept or reject any/all Expression of Interest (EOI).
