INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT
16	Brief Description of Assignment	1 The specialist will continuously monitor the existing website structure and contents in relation to different functions and user/ beneficiary groups. He will identify areas of improvement, linkage and integration with MIS and GIS resources and other customized systems within LGED and work on them. 2 He will notify LGED management to what different information of LGED need to be published at website according to the Right to Information-2009 act and take necessary actions to publish them. 3 He will keep continuous interaction with different levels of LGED personnel to understand LGED’s vision and requirements for the development of web portal. 4 He will update and maintain the web portal in computer language and platform acceptable to LGED management in accordance with identified requirements to make it user friendly, fully functional, compliant with the identified requirements and integrated with other customized systems and resources. 5 He will maintain and upgrade of web-based Personnel Management Information System (PMIS), SMS service of LGED. 6 He will take the all responsibilities to take over the recently developing Bangla version of LGED website and regularly maintain its’ technical aspect. 7 The specialist must keep LGED counterpart official (designated engineer at GIS/ MIS unit) informed of the whole process of web design and reveal every technical & programming details of the system properly documented in both electronic and paper form and submit the same to GIS/MIS Unit In-charge. Copyright of the web portal, its contents and codes will remain with LGED. 3.8 He will work under direct supervision and direction of ICT Unit In-charge through the designated counterpart official (engineers at ICT unit) with overall guidance of SE (ICT) of LGED.
17	Qualification and Experience	1 Education: The applicant shall have 4 (four) years bachelor degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent discipline from any university accredited by university grants commission or equivalent body. Professional certification from internationally reputed bodies/ institutions will be considered as additional qualification. 2 Experience: The specialist must have at least 3 (three) years of experience in web development independently in large organization(s) with 5 (five) years of general experience working in Bangladesh. The applicant shall have knowledge in C#, ASP.NET, CSS, JavaScript programming and different object oriented software development.
