Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) and Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) under the Ministry of Local Government Rural Development & Cooperatives (MOLGRD&C) are responsible for the overall execution and implementation of the project. LGED has established a Project Management Unit (PMU) headed by a Project Director and other associated staffs at LGED HQ. They are responsible for carrying out day-to-day project activities. They are also assisted by LGED and NCC managements and design and supervision consultants. A Project Steering Committee (PSC) under Local Government Division and a Project Implementation Committee (PIC) under LGED are assigned for responsible the overall coordination and monitoring of project activities.
