The objectives of the project are to :

a) Improve the livelihood and quality of life of rural people as well as the basic service facilities, and access to roads and markets.


b) Improve the rural transport network to facilitate production and marketing of agricultural and non-agricultural products.


c) Create both short-term and long-term employment opportunities through construction of rural infrastructures.
