Functions

Key functions of Urban Management Unit -

Urban Management Unit assists in Planning, Implementation & Monitoring of urban development projects of LGED implemented in municipalities;

Holding monthly progress review meeting on ADP implementation to provide guidance for smooth running of the urban development projects;

Capacity building of LGI elected representatives and officials through imparting training;

Assisting in the preparation and updating of pourashava master plan;

Assist pourashavas to implement Urban Governance Improvement Action Plan (UGIAP) for improving the municipal governance.
