Resources:
GIS Section is well equipped with latest hardware and software facilities. It also has skilled manpower.
Hardware:
GIS Section is equipped with a large number of GIS instruments such as; GPS,DGPS, Digitizer, Total Station, a number of computers, servers etc.
Software:
Different GIS and Remote Sensing software are being used such as; ArcView 3.2,ArcGIS 9.2, 9.3 and 10.1, ERDAS IMAGINE 9.2, MultispecW32 etc.
Human Resources:
Different level of GIS professionals are working to implement the GIS activities in this Section. The professionals have received several training inhome and abroad to develop professional knowledge and skills. At present total 12GIS professional are working in GIS Section.
