Upazilla Road Developments:



The project will undertake improvement of about 175km of Upazila roads.The roads will be constructed for a crest width of 5.50meters and at a height of 0.6meters above the highest flood level. Standard  pavement designs as approved by the Planning Commission will be followed for construction of the project roads.



Union Road Development :



The Project will undertake improvement of 366.67km of union roads. The roads will be constructed for width of 3.66 meters and at a height of 0.6 meters above the highest flood level. Standard pavement designs as approved by the planning commission will be followed for construction of the project roads.



Village Road Development :



The  project will undertake improvement of 200 km village roads.The roads will be constructed for width of 3.05 meters and at a height of 0.6 meters above the highest flood level.



Bridge/Culvert on Upazilla/ Union/Village Road :



The approach of Bridges will be constructed so that the approaching vehicles have adequate passing site distance for safety.



Growth Center/Rural Market Development :



Proposed 20 nos important markets will be developed under this project.



Tree plantation :



Tree plantation program has been included on both side of 66.67km. road which to be develop under this project and will be implemented following the guideline approved by LGED and provided details estimate.



Maintenance of Rural Roads and Culvert :



As per policy of rural roads and culverts by the Local Goverment Division in January, 2013 maintenance of Upazila and Union roads have been proposed under this Project.
