Project Implementation Strategy

The Project is being implemented nationwide andthe schemes are proposed by the honorable member of the parliament. The projectis included the commitment scheme of the elected representative includingministers commitment from time to time. Proposal for implementation of schemesare submitted by the Honorable Parliament Member to Chief Engineer. Executive Engineers of the concerned Districts are instructed to prepareestimate as per actual field condition. Then estimates are checked by theHQ officials and sent to Chief Engineer for approval. After getting approvalfrom the HQ, concerned Executive Engineer implements the schemes through localcompetitive bidding. It is mentioned that two Bridge Design Engineers areinvolved in the project as individual consultant to design the large bridgeunder this project.
