c) Training Venues:
Central Training Unit (CTU):
- The CTU is located in the Level 11 of the RDEC building. There are 4 class rooms in the level 11 equipped with air conditioners, projectors and other facilities. To facilitate group discussion, there is an open space in Level 11. In addition, there are 2 Information and Communication Technology (ICT) class rooms equipped with desktop computers, air conditioners, projectors and other facilities.
- There is a big seminar room in level 12 of the RDEC building.
- Central Quality Control Laboratory is used as and when required for demonstration and practice session which is located in level 1 of the RDEC building
- There is a Library located in level 2 of the RDEC building
- Dormitory and dining facilities are also available in the level 13, 14 and 15 of the RDEC building.
Regional Training Centers (RTCs- Barishal, Bogura, Chatragram,Comilla, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Faridpur, Jeshore, Khulna, Khustia, Madaripur, Mymensingh,Narayanganj, Noakhali, Pabna, Patuakhali, Rajshahi, Rangamati, Rangpur and Sylhet):
- The RTC is located in the office of the Superintending Engineer (Region). The conference/meeting room of LGED in the district office equipped with air conditioners, multimedia projectors and other facilities is used as class room for training courses.
- District Quality Control Laboratory is used as when required specially during practical demonstration.
