Project Implementation Strategy

Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) under the ministry of Local Government Rural Development &Co-operatives (MOLGRD&C) is responsible for the overall execution and implementation of the project. LGED has established a Project Management Unit (PMU) headed by a Project Director and other associated staffs both at LGED HQ and Field offices. They are responsible for carring out day to day project activities. They are associated by management, design, supervision, financial management, environmental management, social management etc.
