- To improve rural connectivity through improvement of rural infrastructures for enabling access to productive agricultural areas, and socio-economic centers to generate higher income.

- To enhance rural road infrastructure to all-weather standards with climate resilience and safety features.

- To strengthen the capacity of stakeholders through effective training.

- To create employment opportunities through project interventions.

- To update rural road planning and prioritization system.
