Functions of IWRM (O&M) Unit -
- Continuous monitoring and evaluation of WMCA & Sub-Projects activities by using IWRM Management Information System (IWRM-MIS);
- Preparation of Annual O&M Plan & formulation of budget allocation for periodic maintenance of Sub-Projects;
- Allocation and management of Government revenue fund to Sub-Projects for periodic maintenance;
- Assist to WMCA for Operations and Maintenance of Sub-projects;
- Preparation of Water Resources Development and Management related Guidelines and support for formulation of new Small Scale Water Resources Development Projects;
- Policy Advice and Coordination to other line agencies;
- Analysis of water related poverty issues and input training to WMCA members;
- Management of the Government fund for emergency maintenance for flood & cyclone damage of Sub-Projects;
- Conduct need based training for LGED officials and WMCAs members to improve capacity;
- Livelihood Improvement of WMCAs member for Sustainable Water resources management;
- Give National Award to the best performing WMCA for management of Association & Micro Credit activities and best leaders.
