Component A – SSWR Infrastructure:

 

TheSSWR Infrastructures Component will improve water management systems bydeveloping, rehabilitating and enhancing of small scale water resourcesmanagement infrastructures of the subprojects with appropriate agriculturalextension and fisheries development activities; and environmental and socialsafeguard.

 

Component B – the Participatory Development

 

Participatory Development willmake the beneficiaries more aware about scarce water resources and thus thewater resources could be managed more efficiently both for agriculturalirrigation and fisheries.

 

ComponentC – Institutional strengthening and Capacity Building

Institutional strengthening andCapacity Building activities will make the WMCAs and Local GovernmentInstitutions more capable in handling scarce water resources and in sustainableoperation and maintenance of the subproject to get optimum benefits. Additionallyproject will enhance the capability of LGED and other concern institutions inimplementing such type of project effectively.
