The Need Based Infrastructure Development of Government Primary Schools Project (1st Phase) has 3 (three) main components:
a)Component 1: Quality;
b)Component 2: Equitable Access and Participation; and
c)Component 3: Management, Governance and Financing.
The high level outcomes pertaining to these components are as follows:
i)Quality teaching-learning practices in all schools enable children to acquire the essential grade-level competences stipulated in the curriculum (Component 1);
ii)Learning environments support participation of all children, ensure continuity of education, and enable quality (Component 2); and
iii)Strong governance, adequate and equitable financing, and good management enable the provision of quality education that is efficient, inclusive and equitable (Component 3).
